  • Why can't the drakhaol's just set up some kind of blood donation drive so they don't have to actually kill people? It's made perfectly clear that its the blood, not the killing, that replenishes their power, from the number of survivors. Even if they literally have to drink it straight from the victim for some complicated magic reason, couldn't they have gotten volunteers, and had guards around to make sure they didn't actually kill?
