* [[The Edge Chronicles|The Verginix family]]. At least three of the family's members have been sky pirate captains, and {{spoiler|one of them, Rook Barkwater, ends up as an equally badass warrior}}.

** The Dulles family is best known for [[Men in Black|international intrigue.]] It traces it's line to a man that stepped off the boat at Plymouth. A man by the way, who would roll over in his grave to find his latest famous scion to be Avery Cardinal Dulles. A [[Irony|Jesuit priest]] of all things.
