These things about Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice are subjective - not everyone will agree with all of them.

  • Better on DVD: The Ultimate Edition reinserted 30 extra minutes onto the film and gained a better reception.
  • Darkness-Induced Audience Apathy: Many non-Snyderverse fans thought of the film as a gray versus grey battle.
  • Ensemble Darkhorse: Jenet Klyburn (played by Jena Malone) in the Ultimate Edition got this for sealing up plot holes in the theatrical version.
  • He Really Can Act:
    • Gal Gadot did a great job playing Wonder Woman.
    • Ben Affleck showed some great acting chops as Batman and is considered one of the better Batman actors.
  • Misaimed Marketing: The film itself is dark but there were cereal and toy tie-ins.
  • Narm Charm: "Why did you say that name!?" didn't sound good on paper but Batfleck made it memorable.
  • Signature Line: "Tell me. Do you bleed?"
  • They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Doomsday is a great villain but the climax would have been more effective if the final villain was Bizarro since he's made from Kryptonian tissue as well and that he is an evil clone of Superman.
  • Vindicated by History: The release of Zack Snyder's Justice League has helped improve the film's reputation.
