Bloons Tower Defense/YMMV

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

  • Demonic Spiders: Dang these Yellow and Pink bloons move too fast! Oh, hey, a rainbow bloon... AH! That was close... Whoa, look at the size of this one. What's M.O.A.B. stand for? (*psst* it stands for "hope you've got enough cannons") Golden bloons show up between round 30-40. They have the properties of lead, camo, the ceramic bloons. To rub more salt in the wound, this bloon enters from the exit and leaves through the entrance, confusing you up.
    • In BTD2, it was the black bloons who fit in here- they were the only bloons to be immune to cannons, and since the strongest bloon was the rainbow bloon, cannons were used a lot. The only option against a frozen black bloon were the upgraded boomerangs, which fired in a rather strange pattern. Later installments gave the cannons shrapnel to deal with black bloons.
    • From BTD5... Regenerators... Regenerators... Regenerators...
      • Camo bloons in BTD5; Every bloon they contain is a camo bloon in itself. Add that to the fact that only a few towers can spot camos, and well, prepare to lose a lot of lives.
  • Game Breaker: Depending on how early you buy them, Super Monkeys and Banana Farms. Also, this game on high levels can be considered a PCU breaker when there's too much happening onscreen. Minimize your window to hear things at their regular speed.
  • That One Level: Most of 4 and 5's extreme and expert tracks are like this.

Death Valley, an expert track has two paths that never touch, which is nothing new to the seris.( The Great Devide etc.) The main problem is that the bottom path is, by far the shortest's path in the whole seris. Towers also get distracted by this very short path, ignoring the uper path. Some people think this is harder than main street( keep in mind, main street is rated the highest difficulty in the game, and death valley is rated the second highest) because of that one path. Don't try cheesing your why with banana farms because their is hardy any room for them. Players might want to burn up in the real Death Valley than try this track. Clock is tricky to play on because the path to the exit changes every round. Said exit is also the entrance, so spike factories can't be used for their primary perpose. (Poping any bloons that slip past your defences) Monkeys vs Bloons is one of the hardest tracks in the series. Why, you ask? Five short paths that go straight to each of their five exits. This track is rated advanced, but is harder than some expert tracks. Speaking of advanced tracks being harder than experts, crpyt keeper. It has one path that splits to two paths, then splits to FOURTEEN separate paths, each leading to each of their own exits. Play it in reverse and you have to defend FOURTEEN ENTRANCES. You would think Ninjakiwi would be better at balancing the difficulty of their tracks... Bloons td 5's Tar Pits is probably the hardest track in the series. Ninjakiwi themselves have said the level is impossible to beat without agents and preimuns. There are 5 pits of tar in this level, each have their own cave. Bloons come out of two out of five caves( this is randomized), circle around the pits five times, then go right back in te cave, costing you lives. If the shortness of the paths itsn't enough, the bloons reverse direction every two rounds.
