- Adaptation Displacement: It was a loose revival of Showoffs, an ABC game from 1975 that was not only based around charades but was also from the Goodson-Todman factory.
- Moment of Awesome: A contestant guessed the correct answer of "cookies" in the tiebreaker puzzle "A Girl Scout sells these sweet ROUND things door to door." with only the word "Round" revealed. Watch it here (begins at 0:32).
- What an Idiot!: Ed Begley Jr. couldn't figure out a puzzle whose answer was Johnny Olson because he had never seen The Price Is Right. Ironically, in 2009, he showed up on Price for an Earth Day episode.
