  • Alternate Character Interpretation: The characters all treat Hunt as a cold, unfeeling bitch incapable of interpersonal interaction. While this has so far been borne out in her professional life, as far as we've been shown, most of her abrasiveness with people in her personal life has been in reaction to their harrassment and harsh judgments.
  • Unfortunate Implications: Megan treats her (black) superior like a servant, blatantly ordering him around, making him run errands for her, and point-blank refusing to call him "Doctor" rather than "Curtis". This is all played for laughs, naturally. It's just part of Megan's quirky charm.
    • This starts to change by the third episode, although he and her Grad Student still appear to be around mostly for laughs. He has managed to mess with her some in retaliation, and she starts calling him "Doctor" after he proves to her he knows what he's doing.
