Bravely Default: Flying Fairy is an upcoming Eastern RPG for the Nintendo 3DS developed by Silicon Studio and published by Square Enix. It is said to be the successor to Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light, although whether this is Spiritual Successor or sequel is not yet known.
It is a traditional style RPG, with turn-based combat and Random Encounters.
The main character, as yet unnamed, is destined to become the Warrior of Light.
It is due to be released in Japan in 2012. No localizations have yet been announced.
This game provides examples of:
- Class and Level System
- Golden Thigh Ratio: The young woman in the white dress and thigh-high boots in the teasers.
- Gratuitous English: The title, which makes close to zero sense in English. According to The Other Wiki, Naotaka Hayashi, the game's writer, has stated that the title means "have courage and renounce the promises and responsibilities that are expected of you."
- Random Encounters
- Scenery Porn: The attention to detail and lighting of the gorgeous backgrounds makes them the star of the released screenshots.
- World Map
