  • Cross-Dressing Voices: Chilly Willy is male. His original voice actress was Sara Berner (1912-1969). A number of subsequent entries into his series were voiced by Grace Stafford (1903-1992) and Bonnie Baker (1917-1990). Averted in the shorts where Willy is voiced by Daws Butler (1916-1988).
  • Hey Its That Voice/A-H: Daws Butler, was the voice of Smedley Dog and (occassionally) Chilly Willy. Butler was also familiar to fans as the voice of Loopy de Loop, Quick-Draw McGraw and Baba Looey, Huckleberry Hound (who had the same southern drawl as Smedley), Yogi Bear and Snagglepuss, Wally Gator, Peter Potamus, etc.
