• Narm: Rickman can get a little narmy when he speaks as three characters at once.
  • Interrogator kissing the Author with a mouthful of garlic to overly-dramatic music.
• Nightmare Fuel: The Interrogator's methods, especially later. Heck, the entire movie.
• Paranoia Fuel: The very probably innocent author is pulled from her bed in the middle of the night, held without an attorney, interrogated and tortured, and it's implied that this is completely legal. Also, her conversations at her mother's deathbed years earlier have been recorded and kept by the government, which also seems legal. The Interrogator also seems to know intimate details of her life, like the last person she slept with or tried to, anyway and how the encounter panned out.
