  • Ass Pull: Suu is a living, breathing version of this trope, pulling new powers out of her ass with no explanation whenever the story calls for it.
  • Broken Base: Some of the officially translated named are hated by the fans of the original/fan translated versions, and vice versa.
  • Unfortunate Implications: The only male monsters are portrayed in a very negative way.
  • They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: So far, any attempt at setting up a long term villain has gone down in flames, with the threat usually ending within the same chapter. Apparently, this is intentional on the part of the author, who seems to be focusing on the harem comedy.
  • Woolseyism: MON's acronym in the original/fan translations is "Monsters of a Neuro". This was changed in the official translations to "Monster Ops: Neutralization", which makes more sense in English.
    • Rachnera's dialogue has spider related puns in the official translations
