- Basically, the entire Darkest Dungeon. In fact, it's nightmare fuel in-universe as well -- no hero will venture into it a second time.
- All of the "human" enemies are clearly...human no longer.
- Hey, some raptorous cultists waving their arms! Ew, are those eyes on their bodies? Huh, what does "Flesh to Flesh" do? AUGH DID HE JUST BITE HIS OWN ARM?! HOW DOES THAT HEAL ANYONE?!
- The entire idea of the Heart of Darkness that the Ancestor found: There is a monster at the heart of the world, and when it wakes up -- and it will -- it will destroy the planet. It cannot be destroyed, only delayed...
