On asked on what his diva demand would be:

Darren: I would like to be carried everywhere...by magical creatures. Gryphons and unicorns. Throw a cyclops in there, just so we don't leave them out. No the cyclops would be my bodyguard, like a big hulking guy. And he'd wink at you.

While performing "Status Quo" during an interview, he forgot the lyric twice and then messed it up.
- Right before then, he played some guitar, said "hold on", played random polka music

Darren: now I'm even more confused.

- And right before singing it he says this;

Darren: I wasn't in the show so don't blame me for not knowing it, I only wrote the music.

Being asked if he has recurring dreams:

Darren: "Yeah, I have this dream I'm at this concert where the band sounds exactly like my alarm clock. They're like 'UH UH UH' AND I'm like 'Man! This band rocks!' Then I wake up an hour later and I'm late for Glee."

At the SPACE tour stop in Boston, Darren joined the Starkids for the night. When they got to "Get Back to Hogwarts", Joe Walker started singing Harry's part (as he generally does when Darren's not there) . . . and would not stop. Darren's response, after spending three lines trying to get Joe to give him his part back? Tackle him to the ground. He does the same thing to Brian Holden a few minutes later before they stop goofing off and sing the song.
