Bad Export for You: Deathsmiles IIX was released in North America. As a download-only title. An untranslated download-only title. CAVE resorted to this largely because they couldn't find any willing publishers to do a physical release, as the first game's sales were not too impressive.
Executive Meddling: Microsoft wants less arcade ports on XBLA, to the frustration of Cave. Which is why the second game's Japanese retail edition was put on sale directly for download on XBLA.
