• Critical Research Failure: Just roll with it...
• Dull Surprise: Téa Leoni's performance in this film just screams this.
  • She does okay as the Smug Snake Intrepid Reporter looking for a political scandal. Its when the end of the world is confirmed and she has to show she has hidden depths, that her acting takes a turn for the worse.
• Harsher in Hindsight: Go on, guess which twin buildings are shown to be the only structures left standing out of the water after the tsunami has drowned New York.
  • That scene with the Twin Towers has been edited out of some TV broadcasts of the movie... never mind that it takes place in 1998.
