Article description: (description ) This attribute controls the content of the description and og:description elements. | Originally founded by Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball to produce I Love Lucy, the studio fell on hard times after Lucy and Desi divorced, and was the only studio willing to take the risk to produce Gene Roddenberry's Star Trek (probably figuring it had little to lose). Bought out and absorbed by Paramount during Trek's original production run. Their other productions included Mission Impossible, Mannix and The Untouchables. |
