Main Characters
The Player Character
The player character is an amnesiac cop who wakes up in a trashed hotel room with most of his gear missing due to his multi day bender.
- The Alcoholic: Depending on the players actions. Electrochemistry definitely wants the player to continue.
- Dirty Communist: Can internalize communist thoughts.
- Disco Dan: Can like Disco.
- I Have Many Names: Known by a large number of monikers, nicknames, etc.
Skills
The skills of the player character are each expressed by their own voices and opinions in the internal dialogue of the player character.
Kim Kitsuragi
A more traditional lieutenant that meets the player character on the first day.
- The Driver: Is the one who handles the motor carriage.
- Reasonable Authority Figure:Will frequently stop or at least reprimand the player character if they openly break the law or act recklessly.
- Stylish Protection Gear: Wears a stylish pilots jacket.
The Dockworkers Union
In the middle of a strike during the events of the game. Properly referred to as the Débardeurs Union.
Evrart Clair
The leader of the dockworkers union at the time of the game. Evrart effectively runs Martinaise.
- Affably Evil: While evil is very subjective, Is nothing but polite and welcoming to the player character once they make it to his shipping container.
- Blatant Lies: Partakes in this occasionally, such as saying a weasel lives in the room he asks the player to break down.
- Cheshire Cat Grin: Sports one in his portrait.
- I Own This Town: Much of Martinaise is on his payroll, including potentially the player character.
- Large and In Charge: Fat, but very much in charge.
- The Spymaster: Is quickly informed of your actions, such as how you got into the harbor.
Measurehead
The racist bouncer who restricts entry to the harbor.
- The Big Guy: One of the largest, if not the largest, character in the game, and intensely muscular to boot.
The Fishing Village
A small fishing village on the other side of the lock.
The Lorry Drivers
Drivers stuck by the strike and the bridge.
Revachol Citizens Militia
The police authority within Revachol.
Wild Pines
The shipping company in a standoff with the union.
Joyce Messier
The negotiator sent by the company.
