Beaver dying was horrifying enough, but when Henry shows up at the cabin, we see it all covered in the Ripley fungus. Said fungus doesn't discriminate and would cover mundane objects to further the spread such as the walls, ceilings and their dream catcher. Odds are if left unchecked, it would have covered Beaver's corpse in it too eating. Even without that Henry burned the cabin down so Beaver's body got roasted with it.
