  • Crazy Awesome: Many of the outlandish yet awe-inspiring action sequences.
  • Funny Moments: Sara is heartbroken after she completely fails to make edible food, she runs to Rentarou for support. Rentarou comforts her for a bit, and then forces her to try some of her own cooking.
  • Heartwarming Moments: Rentarou and Sara share one Sara tells Rentarou that he'd be better off alone with Sojyu. He responds by telling her to "Shut the hell up!" and explains that life isn't worth living unless it's all three of them. He's holding her up by her arm so she doesn't fall to her death at the time. Also, Rentarou "..it's a story about love".
  • Moment of Awesome: Rentarou is assisted in running down a flying squid by hundreds of bikers. Rentarou takes out a gigantic flying squid by jumping off a biplane and kicking it in the eye.
  • More Popular Spinoff: Uses the character designs and nothing else from Futakoi, which is a good thing.
