Getting On/Heartwarming
It's Black Comedy of the highest order but the entire show, really, is about doing very difficult, draining, thankless jobs. All of the snark and Jerkass posing allow Den and Kim to get through the days (more or less) mentally intact, but deep down they do seem to be good people. Or, at least, have a fatalistic nobility about them.
