Good Omens/Trivia

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

  • Defictionalization: At the time of Good Omens's writing, there was no "Best of Queen" album containing "Another One Bites the Dust", "We Are the Champions", "I Want to Break Free", and "Fat-Bottomed Girls". This has since been rectified.
  • Name's the Same: Apparently, Adam went on to become a successful musician.
  • Technology Marches On: The 2014 radio adaptation does modernize some of the technology from the original book (one of the riders of the Apocalypse says he's Voicemail instead of Ansaphones, and Newt's technological ineptitude makes "smart phones become moronic") but lets Crowley keep his old magnetic-tape-based answering machine so he can trap Hastur in in the tape; he even says "thank goodness for old technology."
  • What Could Have Been: Phil Foglio drew the first two pages of an adaptation.
