General Fics

Stories focused on the family and the friendly relationships of the cast. Plot-focused stories or light day-in-the-life stories. Pretty much anything that isn't focused on romance.

Darkest Hour by moonstone glows (Warning: AU, minor mentions of male/male relationships)

• Recommended by Nyaru
• Synopsis: Chronos have managed to retrieve one of the control metals, but with enemies on all sides, can Archanfel's faithful few still stand? All is not well in the heart of Chronos. Is this truly thier darkest hour?
• Comments: An interesting fanfic, exploring the relationships between Sho, Imakarum, and Archanfel. Starts at the end of book 26 (or so it seems from the events mentioned) and although some of the premise might seem odd Imakarum is Archanfel's son, the story itself is rather solid and quickly draws one in. The only downside is that it tends to be updated rather sporadically.

Sentinel by Nona Mousy (Warning: none)

• Recommended by Nyaru
• Synopsis: He doesn't remember a time when he was a person.
• Comments: Aptom's thoughts as he stands gaurd over Tetsuro, Mizuki and the others. Fairly engaging, since not many people tend to write from his point of view.

20/20 Vision by Nona Mousy (Warning: AU, incomplete, hasn't been updated in three months over a year. Author appears to still be working on it however.)

• Synopsis: When an attack by Elegen short-circuits his control medal, Sho Fukamachi suddenly finds himself in a past he's all but forgotten. Haunted by memories of a future life he never lived and a strange connection to a now inactive Unit-G, can Sho find it in himself to give up the normal life he could have had?
• Comments: Fiercely engaging, and very interesting, this story is also very clearly written.

Son of Mine, archived here by Cyblade Silver (Warning: Severely AU, makes heavy use of OCs)

• Synopsis: Masaki Murakami has been keeping a secret from the rest of the group. That secret is about to come out. Meanwhile, Sho and the others have to deal with an overambitious Zoalord, the ruler of Chronos itself, and the trials of living on the run.
• Comments: I've put a lot of work into this particular fanfic, and I'd like to see some more reviews; so, here's hoping that my fellow Tropers enjoy this.
