But it's hard. So hard, that no one lasts long. Many quit before the day is over. Many quit without waiting to take the money. Many quit while screaming, without looking where they were going as they fled, and were only seen again muttering about "Twenty bucks an hour" over and over and over again. In some cases, they never even got a chance to quit, and instead died in a suspicious accident or, in especially dangerous jobs (such as "sheriff of a lawless Wild West town"), the line of duty. |
