Perhaps best known for his role on the third season of MTV's The Real World way back in 1994, Judd Winick is an American cartoonist and comic-book writer. Originally famous for his work on The Adventures of Barry Ween, he is currently[when?] under an exclusive contract with DC Comics. Winick found critical success with Pedro And Me - an autobiographical comic that told the story of how he and his Real World co-star (the late HIV-positive gay-rights activist Pedro Zamora) became best friends. In 2001, Winick married his other Real World co-star, Pam Ling.
