Some of their early interactions with the Japanese fleet are a little jarring (e.g. Enterprise takes a little too much joy in tweaking Zuikaku, almost seeming mean-spirited), but things smooth out.  Also noteworthy: Kongou the friendship coach, teaching American escort shipgirls the meaning of ''[[tsundere]]'' and dispensing advice on how to get closer to their desired sempais.
