Kidz Bop/Funny

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

Pre-era

  • Many of the covers in the Nashville-recorded albums can be hilariously bad to some people.
  • Kidz Bop
    • "Oops, I Did It Again" by Britney Spears and "Steal My Sunshine" by LEN are covered. Typical, right? What's not typical? The fact that they left in the dialogue sequences in the songs.
  • Kidz Bop 2
    • "I'm Real" by Jennifer Lopez and Ja Rule. The man's voice sounds like he doesn't know the song, or is just trying to sing it from memory.
  • Kidz Bop 9
    • Depending on your point of view, their cover of "Feel Good Inc." by Gorillaz can be So Bad, It's Funny.
    • At the end of "We Belong Together" by Mariah Carey, the singer tries to hold the last note and has a voice crack.
  • Kidz Bop 12
    • "Cupid's Chokehold/Breakfast in America" by Gym Class Heroes and Patrick Stump starts with "Mbararara." This time, it's hilarious due to it being out of tune and sounding like an interruption.
    • Fergie & Ludacris' "Glamorous." There's something funny about kids screaming at someone to take their broke selves home if they're without money.

First Era

  • Kidz Bop 17
    • Harrison burping in "Say Hey (I Love You)" by Michael Franti.

Second Era

  • Kidz Bop 21
    • Their cover of ""Fly" by Nicki Minaj and Rihanna. Its 2001 counterpart is funny for a similar reason: These kids are singing about flying. One has to wonder if the execs did this on purpose to know that bats are the only mammals that can actually fly.
  • Kidz Bop 24
    • Everything about what they did with the Macklemore & Ryan Lewis song "Thrift Shop," which also features Wanz. A better name for this song would be "Hey" since they repeat that word like a Verbal Tic to censor the expletives interjections.
    • "I Love It" by Icona Pop featuring Charli XCX. The song is about the singer not caring about someone's car crashing into a bridge. This time, the kids are singing about how they don't care that someone drove across a bridge. You'd think 4Kids Entertainment wrote that cover.

Third Era

  • Kidz Bop 26
    • The song "Pompeii" basically starts with the kids singing "A-hole" repeatedly.
  • Kidz Bop 27
    • Just the sole fact that they covered "All About That Bass" by Meghan Trainor. The song is about big butts, so kids singing that is hilarious.
