  • Crowning Music of Awesome - The game has an epic soundtrack with cues for everything from raids to increasing or decreasing your hunters. Of particular note is the tune heard when you send out Traders. Reminds this troper of "Follow the Yellow Brick Road".
  • Never Live It Down: If another clan has wronged yours in some way, you sometimes have the option of satirizing the offenders in a poem. If it's good enough, the other clan will be saddled with a permanent Embarrassing Nickname.
  • Values Dissonance - As one might expect, the Orlanthi culture is subject to a different set of morals. For example, cattle-raiding is acceptable by Orlanthi standards; if you can't protect your herd, you don't deserve to keep it.
