There was also a short-lived (13 episodes) animated adaptation in 1981 loosely based on the two-part episode "You're in the Army Now", except the pair ''actually'' join the army, and find that their immediate superior is an anthropomorphic pig - with a bad attitude - named Sergeant Squealy.
