• Shout Out: One of the achievements is titled, "Heeere's Deckard!" A reference to The Shining.
  • Some of the sound effects used in this game are from Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly.
• Trope: Since GameSpy servers closed, Legendary's online multiplayer mode is gone. But single player/ story mode is still intact.
• What Could Have Been: The final cutscene showed Deckard learning how to use his powers to tame a griffin, and likely other monsters as well.
