Like electric healing, since everyone knows that fifty thousand volts are just the thing for a collapsed lung, and when you make electricity into little restraining manacles; which didn't make a lot of sense when the Superfriends did it either.

Isn't it weird how in fiction these kinds of accidents don't just fry the machines, but cause them to radically change their entire function, while remaining completely undamaged?
