Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

  • Crowning Music of Awesome: The song played by the robot band after you fix their instruments. They play a sax, empty oil drum, and metal pipe didgeridoo. The hero even dances along if you let him.
    • The soundtrack music (a strange mix of electronica and classical music) is utterly beautiful in places, and very well realised. It won soundtrack of the year from PC Gamer in 2009 for this exact reason.
  • Most Annoying Sound: That constant slurping when trying to solve one of the final puzzles to wake up the head of the town.
    • That weird rubbery sound made by the robot plucking the wires slowly becomes an example as well, as the electric current puzzle takes a long time to solve for a lot of players and you are stuck in that area while the noise slowly gives you a headache. Unlike the slurping sounds near the last puzzle, however, the plucking sounds at least sort of blend into the soundtrack for the area, and you can opt to solve the electrical puzzle first before pulling the wires.
  • That One Boss: Without a doubt the 5-in-a-row guy; this single puzzle is notorious for stopping the game dead due to the severe difficulty spike. Not only does the AI get to go first every time and seem to predict your every move, but he laughs right in your face every time you lose and must be beaten "fairly" to progress.
    • On the other hand, if you had trouble figuring out the other puzzles because you didn't even know where to start, this minigame may be a nice change of pace for you. At the very least, no matter how fast/clever the computer is, the board is still big enough for you to enact gambits that would leave him in an indefensible position.
  • That One Puzzle: Several of the puzzles in the game exceed predictable Stock Video Game Puzzles and so require much reasoning or a walkthrough. For some, the connect-five puzzle may be nigh-impossible, while for others, the nested cups puzzle or train shunting puzzle may prove challenging.
  • Ugly Cute: Josef. He's made of scrappy metal, has bug eyes and grunts to communicate, but that's what makes him so cute.
