  • The ending of "The Metamorphosis of Justin Jones" was a Bittersweet Ending, to say the least. After seeing that he would, indeed, make it to adulthood, and once there help other abused children as a counselor, he returns home to his abusive uncle, rather than staying in paradise. An odd variation of a Heroic Sacrifice, at that.
