Fridge Logic

• If the human kingdom destroyed all its spinning wheels and permitted no new ones to be made, where did it get fabrics to make clothing with (especially fancy/expensive ones for the aristocracy) for the next sixteen years? No other neighbors beside the Moors are ever mentioned -- so where did all the new textiles come from? Nobody in the human land seemed to be wearing anything particularly ragged or even slightly worn.
