Fridge Brilliance

  • In the Masters of Horror episode "Imprint", the No Name Given prostitute tells Christopher two conflicting stories about his lost love Komomo's death before finally telling the truth. It was only when I was done watching the episode that I realized that, aside from initially framing Komomo's death as suicide and not murder, she never outright lies to him so much as she leaves out significant details and paints things in extremely broad strokes. Also, she spins the first story towards what she thinks Christopher would want to hear, while the second one is skewed more towards how she wished it had happened.
