Mediawikianism is the belief that problems with adding and improving content can be usually overcome with improvements to the MediaWiki software, such as custom scripts and extensions.

Of course, this does not eliminate or obviate editing entirely, but members of this school of thought believe most of the hurdles making editing harder can be solved via improvements to the wiki engine.
