  • Complete Monster - Shiro Ishii and most of 731. The adults, for the most part, are presented as without redeeming characteristics of any kind, although there are a few who appear to be motivated by loyalty to Japan rather than sheer sadism.
  • High Octane Nightmare Fuel - Many of the experiments seemed to have no purpose other than creative abuse of the human body.
  • Nausea Fuel - The pressure chamber scene. Frankly, if a man's intestines squirting out of his anus doesn't warrant Brain Bleach, it's hard to conceive of what does.
