- Crowning Moment of Awesome: Episode 17. Michiko has some damn strong teeth.
- Crowning Moment of Funny: Episode 6 bullfights.
- Random lesbian kissing in episode 16. Made especially funny by Hatchin's reaction.
- Crowning Moment of Heartwarming: The ending.
- Needs More Love
- Tear Jerker: In the final episode, Michiko arranges a plane for Hana and Hiroshi to leave together so that he can take care of her while she does jail time. Michiko decides to see her off while driving alongside the plane as it lifts off the ground. Cue Hana literally screaming for Michiko and begging to stop the plane as she realizes how much she needed Michiko, despite their differences.
- Uncanny Valley: Shinsuke again.
- Unfortunate Implications: Michiko makes a few somewhat racist-sounding comments towards Jumbo...
- The Woobie: Hatchin has some of this in the beginning. She gets better, though.
