Crazy Awesome: The Duke of Detroit. The climax of his intro episode sums it up: he has a tank that shoots limos. Not as in it shoots at limos, it uses limos as AMMO.
Ho Yay: Some see some between Mike and Chuck. They are pretty close and have affectionate nicknames for each other.
- The bromance of the second episode was so high that one of the animators themselves called it "sexual tension," even drawing a picture of Julie and Claire together to make it "fair to the ladies."
- Not to mention the intense Foe Yay that Kane and Mike share, as early as episode 1...

Kane: Backstabber! How could you chose this... this... sewer over ME!

- Dutch and Texas basically snuggling in episode 6. Although given the look on Dutch's face, it's definitely one-sided ...
Nightmare Fuel: The HOUNDs from the second episode were formidable enough, but then one got a blast of nuclear energy to the face...
- There's a good reason why the Terras wear gas masks...
- The Duke of Detroit is a laughing mad Large Ham with a penchant for shiny decor, stretch limos and sunglasses. He's also incredibly wealthy and influential, and can ruin your day with a word if he decides you need to be taught a lesson.
Visual Effects of Awesome: Just watch the animation for the show. Holy crap; it even puts My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic to shame.
