Mutant Mudds is a 2012 platform video game developed by Renegade Kid, first released for the Nintendo 3DS. The story is simple. A nerdy kid named Maximilian equips himself with a water gun and a bubble powered jetpack to defeat mutated mud creatures called 'Mudds'. Golden Diamonds can get you power up in Max's Grannie's attic. It resembles Mario because of platforming and Mega Man because of platforming/shooting/ridiculously hard difficulty. It has a 12-bit design. Enjoy.
Tropes used in Mutant Mudds include:
- Jet Pack
- Kill It with Water
- Muck Monster
- Mutually Exclusive Powerups: The upgrades you get from Granny.
