- Alliterative Name:
- Yukino Yukinoshita.
- Yui Yuigahama.
- Blatant Lies: Hikki's story about "a friend of a friend" is obviously about him, to the point Yukino figures it out almost immediately.
- Brutal Honesty: Something that Yui loves about Yukino, because she loves the honesty, even if it hurts her.
- Defrosting the Ice Queen: What Shizuka expected by putting Hikigaya in the Volunteer Service Club.
- So Beautiful It's a Curse: Yukino is a cute girl that boys love to fawn over. Who could hate her? Other girls, that's the answer. A lot.
- Tall Poppy Syndrome: Yukino suffered from this in the past, that makes Hikigaya reflect about how often is the people on the highest points that suffer more.
