  • Basic: A prophecy has an unexpected loophole.
  • Straight: A giant declares that no man can ever defeat him, only to be defeated by a knightly Tomboy.
  • Exaggerated: A brigade of female knights challenges the giant and kills him.
  • Downplayed: The prophecy states that "no man can kill the giant", but their only candidate is an inexperienced woman, whom the men must train to defeat the giant.
  • Justified: The giant made a deal with the Dark King who put a prophecy stating that "no man can kill the giant" so that he can become all-powerful.
  • Subverted: The prophecy says "no man", which is short for mankind, meaning that no human can ever kill the giant so the men make a deal with a cooler villain known as Ghirahim so that he can declare war on the giant.
