But the Dark Powers have given him an assistant to help, [[Demonic Dummy|a living ventriloquist dummy]] that looks like a comical version of [[Big Bad|Strahd von Zarovich]] (the Darklord of Barovia and most notorious villain in the setting). This eerie creature thinks it is the real Strahd, and constantly rants how it will crush its enemies and conquer all of reality, in the [[Large Ham|hammiest and most absurd ways possible]]. Anyone who knows anything about the real Strahd will find this act hilariously funny, and the crowd’s laughter is an endless torment for Doerdon.
