After an experiment harness energy from gravity goes wrong, this resulted in a phenomenon that inverts the gravity of Earth. Patema Inverted is a 2013 anime film from writer/director Yasuhiro Yoshiura, the creator of Time of Eve and Pale Cocoon.
After an experiment harness energy from gravity goes wrong, this resulted in a phenomenon that inverts the gravity of Earth. Years past, Patema decided to explore further than her underground home despite the laws refraining from doing so due to the dangers. Upon reaching the outer limits, Patema meets Age, a male student who discovers Patema's gravity is inverted from his.
