- For AA fans, this would be the return of the original (non-sarcastic) Phoenix, along with the appearance of Maya for the first time in six years. In addition, this would be the first time the two would get voiced cutscenes (i.e. anything besides exclamations for the attorneys only).

- Crowning Music of Awesome: The music in the trailer.
- The second trailer does one better: a mix of both the Professor Layton and the Ace Attorney themes.
