  • Non Sequitur Scene: The "cake song" sequence, around twenty minutes into the film. It doesn't serve a bigger role in the plot, and it interrupts the pacing of the Nightmare fight. The scene is not used for humour. However, it is a nice break from the usual depressing Madoka Magica tone.

Everyone: Big cake!
Round cake!

Bebe: Is the cake Sayaka?
Sayaka: No it's not me.
