- Game Spot, of all things, gave the Best Driving Game on PC for 2002 genre award to... Rally Trophy. The game also helped put then-newbie developer Bugbear firmly on the map of the Driving Game genre, as a studio to be reckonned with.
- Crowning Music of Awesome : The intro cutscene theme and Replay theme. The music tracks of the various stages aren't bad either - Kenya and Sweden have some of the most kickass ones.
