Here are instructions for anyone who wishes to perform a little science experiment on the subject:

Get off All The Tropes for a bit and step into that weird and overly bright place called 'Outside'.
Proceed to the nearest bookshop. Experiment works best if you have some money with you. If not, Plan B.
Locate and buy a copy of his book, Surely You're Joking, Mr Feynman!.
Having bought/loaned/stolen your own copy, find somewhere comfortable to read. Keep a notebook handy.
Apply optical organs and cerebral matter to the complex patterns of melanic ink printed upon the solidified xylous pulp.
Put a tick on the notepad whenever the book doses you up on nitrous oxide.
Count the number of ticks.
Come back and fill in this entry. That's Feynman.

- I've read through the book; the first part is extremely jestful and humorous, though the last five chapters seem to be more serious about Feynman's philosophy. I do find the book quirky and very enjoyable.
