- Misaimed Fandom : This movie is loved by several rockers. What with the great soundtrack and the casting of real life rock/metal musicians as the band members of Steel Dragon, including Ozzy Osbourne/Black Label Society gutarist Zakk Wylde! Yet, it seems to have an "anti-rock" message, since "Izzy" betrays his roots and joins grunge, and this in the context of the film is seen as "moving on" and not as opportunism.
