Rubin and Ed/Heartwarming
- Ed giving the eulogy at the cat's burial and comforting Rubin
- Rubin sticking up for Ed when Ed's ex puts him down. For the first time, he has acted on behalf of someone else and has finally come out of his little self-centered bubble.
- After Rubin finally makes an actual human friend, a stray cat approaches him and he picks it up. Now he has two new friends and the cat has somewhere to stay.
