  • Complete Monster: Sulepsis: Passed the Moral Event Horizon at age 3, going strong ever since. Daikonas Vo and Hendon Tolly also qualify, but look positively tame by comparison.
  • The Scrappy: Briony. Although it doesn't really get bad until the fourth book when all her character development and learning about how things are not necessarily how they seem goes out the window. From this point, her sections of the story become a real trudge through her accusing people of things without having all the information, making extremely unreasonable demands and whining when she doesn't get her way. Arguably justified in-story since she has just got back to Southmarch, Midsummer is approaching and everybody with the god's blood is acting strangely, and she does get her requisite CMOA towards the end.
  • The Woobie: Qinnitan and Pigeon.
