You could clearly see that he was both surprised and shocked by Laurie's ferocity, since he ain't used to be beaten up that hard.

As if on Cue, Michael appears and grabs Molly. Rather than run away, John being just as brave as his mother Laurie grabs Michael's knife hand to prevent him from stabbing Molly and punching him in the face times forcing Michael to let her go and focus on him. Myers gains the upperhand and even stabs John in the leg to boot, but before he could finish him off, Molly returns the favor by bashing his head with a rock, stunning him temporarily. Allowing them both to flee despite John's new limp.
* Freddie's [[Big Damn Heroes]] moment in ''Resurrection'' as he rushes through the door to the burning shack to save Sara.
